From time to time, we find interesting vintage pens that we can sell at attractive prices. However, just because they are low-priced does not mean they are crumby junk. In most cases, the pens are in good or better condition and, unless otherwise stated, in working condition. These pens will offer the new collector or user of fountain pens a chance to enjoy the pleasure of writing with something other than a ballpoint or rollerball at a reasonable cost. Most of the pens offered will have 14K gold nibs. New pens today with gold nibs will cost five to ten times or more than these vintage examples. So they indeed represent real "Bargains." EVERSHARP SYMPHONY ca. 1949
Model: | Eversharp Symphony w. Chrome Cap and Black Barrel | Grade: | Excellent + Near Mint (Possibly New Old Stock) | Nib Width: | Smooth Fine marked "Eversharp 14K Made in USA" | Length Capped: | 5 1/4" | Comments: | The Symphony was designed by the famous industrial designer, Raymond Leowy. He also designed the 1953 Studebaker automobile. This pen has a bit of drawer wear, but looks to be new old stock (NOS), still retaining its price band showing its cost of $3.75 in 1949. The cap is dent and scratch free. The internals appear to be held over from the workhorse Skyline models. The pen has been tested and writes very nicely. One of the last good pens before ballpoints overtook the fountain pen. | Price: | $40 including USA postage SOLD

EVERSHARP VENTURA PEN & PENCIL SET ca. 1955
Model: | Eversharp Ventura set in Navy Gray with Gold Plated caps | Grade: | Excellent to Excellent + | Nib Width: | Smooth Fine/Medium marked "14K Eversharp Made in USA" | Length Capped: | Both pieces 5 1/8" | Comments: | The Ventura was perhaps the last gasp of Eversharp before it was bought out by Parker. The pen is an aerometric filler similar to the Parker 51 of the same period. The repeating pencil works as intended and is a nice companion to the fountain pen. No dents or dings in the caps. | Price: | $40 including USA postage SOLD
| SHEAFFER ADMIRAL SNORKEL ca. 1953
Model: | Sheaffer Admiral Snorkel in Gray and Black | Grade: | Near Mint (Possibly New Old Stock) | Nib Width: | Smooth Medium marked "Sheaffer's Reg. U.S. Pat.Off. 14K Made in USA" | Length Capped: | 5 5/8" | Comments: | The Sheaffer Snorkel rivaled the Parker 51 as the most popular pen in the early 1950's. These Admirals feature the traditional nib style and are great writers. Pens have been tested and take up a huge amount of ink. | Price: | $40 including USA postage 2 Black available ALL SOLD
| SHEAFFER IMPERIAL w. 14K AUTOGRAPH BAND NOS ca. 1990
Model: | Sheaffer Imperial with inlaid nib, black with 14K "Autograph" band | Grade: | Mint- NOS | Nib Width: | Smooth Medium marked "Sheaffer's Lifetime 14K Made in USA" | Length Capped: | 5 3/8" | Comments: | The Sheaffer Imperial came in many color and cap configurations and this may be the hardest to find, with the Autograph 14K band. The band does not have any engravings, other than the "14K." The pen is a cartridge/converter filler that is missing the converter. They are readily available. | Price: | $60 including USA postage SOLD | EVERSHARP 5TH AVENUE CA BALLPOINTS NOS ca. 1947
Model: | Eversharp 5th Avenue CA (Capillary Action) Burgundy, Black, Blue | Grade: | Mint - NOS | Nib Width: | n/a | Length Capped: | 5 1/4" | Comments: | Eversharp introduced their ballpoint in 1945 as part of the Skyline and soon thereafter in the 5th Avenue line. Unfortunately, they didn't work very well and warranty repairs contributed significantly to the eventual demise of the Company. We have retrofitted these neat Art Deco design pens with the innerds from the reliable "Bic Stik." The filling unit and front end fit perfectly and look very close to the original. And, they write very nicely. When a fountain pen won't do, bring out one of these Vintage ballpoints and enjoy the looks of your associates as they ask, "what the heck is that?" We have a number of these in the colors mentioned above with stainless buff finish caps and just one with a gold filled cap. These probably won't last long. | Price: | $35 including USA postage. One Blue left!
